RKBA is proud to introduce the Builder of the Year for 2007, Legacy DC.

Legacy DC has been a member in good standings since 2001. not only do they support the association and the community, but they support the Building Industry. They have not been afraid to make change and to be unique. They supported Builder Education even before it became mandatory. In 2006 and 2007, their association involvement was taken to a new level. Sitting on committees, participating in the Parade of Homes and attending all of our meetings while contributing to our community events, seems to have gotten them hooked. To add to the list watch for them to participate in the Play House Build in the spring of 2008.
After seeing the wants of homeowners to live in conservation and community involvement areas while sitting on the Caledonia Plan Commission for over 10 years, Legacy DC was not afraid to meet the demand and to create these types of developments. The dedication and their involvement in many different associations throughout the state have helped to make them stand out to the committee. Congratulations to the 2007 builder of the year, Legacy DC.

RKBA is proud to introduce the Associate of the Year for 2007, Karlsen Plumbing.

Since 1998 Karlsen Plumbing has kept their membership current with the Racine Kenosha Builders Association. The continuous support they have given not only the association but the community over the years has not only helped the membership and the community grow but has also allowed the building Industry to go to new levels. You will see their foursome at the annual golf outing year after year, at the GM meetings month after month and at different education seminars. They were the first to stand up and offer their assistance to the residents at Bethany Apartments to ensure they had appropriate living conditions. When they are not actively helping and supporting the Racine Kenosha Builders association you may find them at Kiwanis, Halo, helping at church or ramak. Currently active with the Board of Health and in the Plumbing apprenticeship program please help me honor the associate of the year 2007 to Karlsen Plumbing.
